Even if you're too young, who would you vote for?

I thought this could be fun.

If you're including regional parties (SNP) then surely Plaid and the northern irish ones should be included as I wouldn't class them as irrelevant (well maybe the irish ones but...) :p

My area is pretty close, it's only a few hundred votes between the Lib Dems who have won the last few times vs the Conservatives.

I don't really fancy either, and voting elsewhere is a waste so I won't vote.

I'm in a very safe Labour seat because poor area and oop North, but still going to vote. Not sure who yet, would vote Greens if it weren't for the fact I dislike their nuclear energy option. It's based on reactionary opinions rather than logic and empirical evidence. Right motive but wholly uneducated on the benefits of nuclear, especially the large amount of potential.

On the other hand, at least their opposition is with the caveat that they will fund renewable options and energy efficiency so it's not all bad.

They also want to legalise being part of a terrorist organisation.

I expected their nuclear policy to be pretty much my main/only issue with them, but a fair few of their policies for the economy, immigration and a couple other things are just downright silly and tend towards the "batshit insane" side of the spectrum.

It's a shame, really, but I don't know if the disappointment is my fault because I expected them to be less of a left-wing umbrella party which they seem to have become.

Being a foreigner, I have a very limited view of British politics, but we hear about it in the news here so out of curiosity I took a couple of tests to see which party suits me:

I'm somewhat torn between the Green Party and the Liberal Democrats, though I think I'm leaning towards the latter.

If anyone else wants to take these tests, here you go:

I live in a safe Tory seat so I already know who my MP is going to be on the 8th, but I'm still not overly sure on who I'll vote for. Tempted to go UKIP. :ugeek:

The main problem with all these quizzes is that they don't factor in the BS these parties say. We all know a lot of their policies are just for show and will never be touched post election.

Might as well, it contributes to the national vote share and pushes the issue of a referendum. It's also a bit more productive than spoiling a ballot if you don't like the top two.

Voting Conservative, pretty accurate test results I think...
