Blatter's hatred for anything English is actually quite pathetic.

I propose an alternative to the "tragedy" of the current FA presidential elections system...

uefa's and fifa's governing bodies are an absolute joke.

ukranie for euro 2012. what a piss take. oxalde-chamberlains family aren't going out to watch him in his first senior comp because they will get racially abused and attacked.

Did anyone see the sky sports report of ukranie football hooliganism?

Yep. Although they are a minority, it seems FIFA's decision on these countries isn't based around the quality of the stadiums and the safety of the fans. If it's somewhere different, they've got it (See Russia, Qatar, South Africa and, in a way, Brazil <-------- All rich and growing nations. h0h0h0).

Agreed.

I heard about Sepp's comments shortly after he made them and my head about exploded with rage. Football is heartache and overwhelming joy. If you can't handle that, get the flower out. So fucking tired of FIFA.

I think the FA should raise the question that if penalties are done away with, does England get to play all the semi's and finals we missed because of them

There was one good article where a picture of Ukrainians doing a Nazi salute during a football match was dismissed as simply them "pointing at the other fans". ^_^

The authorities there are clearly delusional, the Panorama episode on this was really disturbing. Another fantastic decision by Sepp and FIFA.

Still, silver lining, the England players will only have to put up with it for the group games, they'll probably be on their way home after that
