The Red Queen's Race
« on: February 28, 2012, 05:18:32 pm »
"It takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place."

BBH posters I notice are given a suit and a rank, corresponding to playing cards.

Suit
The suit indicates both the 'quality' of your posting and your encouragement of posting by others. If you are starting threads that get many replies, and/or your posts are exceedingly entertaining then you will be a higher suit.

Suits are defined thusly:
Heart - Great
Diamond - Good
Club - Mediocre
Spade - Poor

Rank
Your rank is related to the extent of your participation in BBH, your maintenance of character and stylishness, along with any other factors I feel like ranking by at the time. Ace is the lowest rank, and king is the highest. Its easier to get a higher rank in the lower suits, so try not to be too excited if you are jack of spades.
If you manage to attain a royal rank (jack/queen/king), you will (probably) have a personalised card drawn up and will be included in the Hall of Fame on future ranking posts.

Will probably do the first rating in a day/two.

He had spent his whole life despised and hated for the mere triviality of wearing dresses and make-up despite possessing a (rather magnificent) penis, and this persecution had fostered within him both a desperate yearning to be loved and appreciated, and an iconoclastic desire to subvert and destroy the odious traditions on which society was built.
