France are lucky bastards, especially after looking very unlikely to even qualify.

Look at it this way, England players can save themselves money on plane tickets as they know when they're gonna be heading home...

At least they won't be able to go in to it in a complacent fashion expecting to win without any effort.  I think we play better when we're under a bit of pressure.  Still going to be an absolute bitch to get out of that group though.

To be honest we could have been in a much worse group. Admittedly we could have been in a much easier group too.

Italy aren't what they once were, and although we're crap currently we should still get through the group stage.

Looking forward to the B, G & H games. All of those should be entertaining.
What is it Sebastian?
It’s the Rebels, sir. They’re here.
My God, man. Do they want tea?

So then God created the world, and on the first day he created light and air and fish and jam and soup and potatoes and haircuts and arguments and small things and rabbits and people with noses and jam – more jam, perhaps – and soot and flies and tobogganing and showers and toasters and grandmothers and, uh … Belgium. And the second day he created fire and water and eggnog and radiators and lights and Burma and things that go "urh" and … and Colonel Gaddafi and Arthur Negus. On the third day he probably got lists and said, "I can't remember what I've invented now. I've just been ad-libbing so far."

Considering the easy qualifying groups England always receive, you guys shouldn't complain.

Psh, it'll be a miracle if you make it out of the group stage.

When i saw the draw i knew we were up against it, Uruguay with Luis Suarez and Edison Cavani. And Italy of course with the good players they have. We need three points against Costa Rica and a draw against either Uruguay or Italy (Italy is more of a possibillity in my opinion) and hope that Uruguay or Italy defeat each other.
