Just got the new update, Looks okay. What do you guys think of it (if you have it).

Some of the guys at uni have have been playing with the pre release over the last few months and I heard it was fairly fast.

I'm probably gonna set it up on a vm and have a play around at some point.

i upgraded last night, after pissing around to turn all the spy settings off its p good, boot up is gorram slow for me tho so had to buy an ssd

this one lets me OC CPU without freaking out like win7 which is neat

Wont touch it with a barge pole, the spy settings are FAR too much for me, I'll see if I can dig out the source but I read there will be annual fee after the first year.

As soon as Win 7 support ends, I'll be a full 100% Linux convert

I'm planning on playing around with linux at some point also, what are you planning on using?

I've been looking and GNOME and Kali for uni work.

I like it, far better than Win8.1 but like Diakun said : you need to turn off all spy things

There are spy things? I gave up updating when I was told there are built in ads you need to pay to remove.

How can any company think this is acceptable?

Well I haven't seen any ad's and it is very fast :p But I know nothing about the spy thingys...
