Do not buy D:

Outdated budget processor, too little memory, outdated budget graphics card.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

I got mine from a company called DinoPC, google them. They are a little dodgey and my PSU spazzed out but they give free parts for a year and have very reasonable prices for mid-to-high end PCs. I paid 400 for mine and it can run Crysis at ultra settings with aliasing off.

Of course it depends what you're after from the computer, that setup is fine for surfing and general computer shenanigans.

I know not everyone will want to do this, but my advice to anyone who asks me about this is: build it yourself
It's cheaper, you get to choose exactly what parts you want, and you might learn a little along the way.

Yeah but make sure you know what you are doing, one of my mates built his own computer and he must have put it together badly or had some dodgy parts because it broke after as few months

Well that kinda goes without saying, but I know what you mean. The first computer I built, I fried the motherboard. Not to mention getting completely incompatible parts.

For anyone interested, there's quite a good article on it here.

This.

If you do go that route, get:
AMD Phenom II X3 720 - £91.79
ATI HD 4890 - £137.99
Random cheap medium tower case: £25ish
Reasonable quality 450w power supply - £40ish
Average 7200rpm SATA harddisk, 500gb - £40ish
Compatible motherboard - £65ish
4 gigabytes DDR2 ram - £40ish

Windows 7 - £65

Total: £505ish, with the option of a cheaper graphics card if you like (culd shave £40 or so off and still be good)

And that will be quite literally an order of magnitude better than what you have up there.
