Whatever happened to it?

Especially now that Deilos has gone...

Wasn't dish doing it for a while?

At our last sitting, members were as follows (roughly):

UKRP rep: Dishmcds
TUP rep: me
PCP rep: rastari
RFA rep: no idea
MDU rep: dobis1
Unaffiliated reps: Deilos & Rayf

Almost no unaffiliated eUKers are left now.

Also quit and began two clicking, which is why Rayf took over.

Then surely it would be worth setting up completely fresh?

Nah, we can still work with the party reps, but MDU have long been out of the top 5. The question is this; Do we trust BEP enough?

Well yeah, I didn't mean completely fresh.
I just mean getting it going again, with new reps

Personally, I think, that everybody on the Honours Committee should be unaffiliated politically and not holding any office currently.  However, it's pretty much impossible to fill a full committee with such people.  Not holding any current office is probably the most important, and unaffiliated reps should ideally make up the bulk of the members (or even just nominally affiliated).  That does mean HoL types, really.  I mean, to be fair, on the previous committee, it was really pretty much Dish, Deilos, rastari, malta, and I.  Though dobis did pitch in after the first couple of months when he got the hang of things.  Hence, I think that party reps can still work, even if they aren't "old guard" or "ancient."

Honestly, we've run out of the ancient people to award.  We've already hit 'em all up, mostly.  We were already thinking of more recent candidates before things stalled out.  Thus, I don't think we need to worry about the age of the committee members, per se.  Long as they're not fresh off the boat.

But it's about who volunteers.  It's always been a volunteer position.
The Dude abides.

I've never got an award you dicks ;_;
And I'm awesome.

I also hold no office or have a roll in any political party; there I'll join and nominate myself.
