Premier League relegation battle
« on: February 13, 2012, 08:52:05 pm »
(also an excuse to laugh at Wolves)

2 points between the bottom 5.  Staying up is obviously hugely important to all clubs.

Who do people think will end up in the bottom 3?

I'm extremely biased and don't care as long as Wolves get relegated (WBA fan).  The 5-1 victory yesterday away against our biggest local rivals combined with the sacking of Mad Mick is a dream come true.  We're not safe yet, particularly with Man U and Chelsea games coming up soon but we're in a pretty good position for now.

Choose who you think will be bottom 3 and we'll see if we have any collective wisdom.  Poll lasts a week.

I hope WBA / QPR / Swansea all stay up. I reckon Wigan / Blackburn / Wolves are dropping, though I'd have loved to have seen Mick stay and Wolves survive too. :(

Well if Wolves overtake Blackburn, your area can have relegation covered.

Aston Villa and everyone above is safe. The relegation battle seems to be quite boring this year compared with previous seasons. Domination of the Manchester teams have made it a bit boring down the bottom meh finks.

Same as smacky. I've enjoyed watching WBA, QPR (lolbarton), and Swansea play this year. Shame for Mick. Imo, he's done decent with a pretty shit setup.

I wouldn't go as far to say that Blackburn is in my area. Not fussed if they go down really, still got the manchester and liverpool teams within 20 miles :) I'll definatly win the league!

Wigan I think is the safe bet to go down, I also went for Blackburn and Bolton but I think between those 2 and Wolves will be a good battle to escape relegation. If this was done last week I would have picked Wolves but now they could have a new manager coming in which could go really good or really bad so it's hard to tell, depends who comes in really.

Wigan, Wolves and Blackburn.

Although I would have picked Chelsea if they were an option.

Europa League place now, come summer bottom three.

The only reason I want Swansea to stay up is down to the fact they actually run the club like a proper business, without the help of substantial investment from a foreign investor.
