Atm, the eUK wants to wipe Ireland, and it will. However as soon as MUFC is removed from power (either by term expiring or otherwise) peace can be talked about, with perhaps a TW continuing.

Your move.

Our glorious leader MUFC992 has survived an impeachment proposal by a margin not usually found outside North Korea.

This proposal was moved by MR. HANK SCORPIO, described as "a respected member of the Irish Community" by Thomas765, a respected member of the eUK Community.

Maybe I should've said that I respected him rather than that he was respected... :P

He seemed like a fairly competent and decent ambassador :(

It's the quiet ones, I'm telling you

I get on fine with Hank. He was a very good ambassador as can be seen from earlier in this thread and has published some fine, objective articles:

Let's just say MUFC doesn't bring out the best in him:

In a minor setback in the Anglo-Irish War, eUK forces scored a rare victory in Dublin today.

I'll post this here, because dunno where else to post it:
Also, this is my view, and only my view, a member of this community, not posting as an ambassador.

We like the irish. We really do. In fact, eIreland is one of the most liked countries by the argentinians, only behind Greece, Turkey, Colombia and Uruguay. And it's close (all those above 75%/80%). But, no matter how much we like you, we disliked the irish approach to COT.

We respect it, though. We understand it, since you are fighting a TWO country.

Argentina is NOT actually pro-TWO. We are anti-COT, first and foremost.
Would we help Ireland defense against any threats? Yes, even now.

But if you join COT, if you MPP COT, we simply can't follow you there. That's our limit, the line on the sand for us.
The world was heading for a COT vs TWO clash, and the argentinian position on such an event was crystal-clear for a LONG while now.

Thanks Baron. I'll copy your comments and pass them up the line.

Ireland seems to be back where we were after our resignation from EDEN, when we left without any consensus as to where we were headed next. Like many countries we're looking at the unfolding situation with regard to the various alliances and trying to figure out where we fit in. Looking at the Irish media you will find strong opinions in favour of all possible alliance options - which is typical of us.

Although the CUA+I adventure was short lived we made some good friends and had some fun at the expense of our hosts here in the eUK. We're still paying for it now though!

Again, not as the ambassador to this country, I'll speak as an argentinian that likes you, both in-game and in RL.

Do whatever is best to your country. If that's joining COT, go for it. We'll not like it, but we'll understand it.
