This is pretty hilarious to be honest, but then again I was removed as an admin under similar conditions (baww about me rather than the job I was doing as an admin).

Nothing Dan or Talon have done has been particularly unfair, it's just point scoring by a few nutters, including that neo-nazi loving guy we all respect so much.

Since the rules remain exactly the same, I anticipate absolutely no changes. However if it brings the majority of sane UKPP/NE/OV members onto the forums it's a worthwhile sacrifice.

I really hope now, that we can see a lot more posters on the forums, that the stigma can be taken away, and that we can enjoy this community that really does make the game for me. If we can get all of that, well, my position is a small price to pay. I've never been in it for the positions and power, and look forward to seeing how we proceed from here.

Thanks guys

This is why you deserved to be Admin :)

Thank you a lot, Dan and Talon. I have great respect for the fact both of you have taken being axed/demoted like a man and I thank you both for putting that trust in me.

If this actually means the whole eUK is going to use these forums as now the CP clearly has a say and no one can argue with that then can I be the first to say "Thank flower for that?"

The ingame mails and gdocs are a good way to get around the lack of use of the forums but they are no way to build a country. Forums are quite simply needed for anything productive to really happen.

This really, if these changes help get the UK be more united and more ACTIVE, then it was worth it.

I want the feeling we got when we achieved the Azores victory and the togetherness we achieve for that week.

We will promote Congress use of the forums, but the Gdoc for CS applications etc I think are great and clear easy way to manage applications, again the CS committee can use the forums to discuss results from the Gdoc.

What I find saddest about this is that the reason this has happened is that the people who are proven multi-accounters, cheats and traitors have simply grown in number to the point where they can turn this into some sort of 2000AD dystopia, where they are running things. Frerk being admin and not #cheat463 is the only positive

I still don't get why the changes were necessary. And I'd still like an explanation for it.

And don't say "to fix the divide" - why was there one over it in the first place? I think we're owed that at the least.

Wow, Interesting conclusion to something that has been building for quite some time.

Hopefully this will have relieved a lot for the pressure that had built up. I personally always found Dan and Talon to be pretty good at what they did, bar /that/ night in which everyone apparently lost their sanity, they were both easy to get in contact with and very often would help out with subforums/complaints pretty sharpish and like others have said you have taken it well.

As for some people acting like they had no idea there was any problem, firstly we all know that there were some issues besides 'Dem cheaters be outnumbering us'... and in the end whenever there was criticism I believe the answer given was. "It's a private forum, don't like it make your own" I hope now we've seen the back of that attitude.

And Frerk is a decent guy and I hope he can oversee forum activity taking an upward turn.

to be honest i seen change coming, however to remove the best 2 most active mods we have i think also is unfair. Lets be honest the most active mods are always going to be the most hated as its them thats seen doing the most.

Absolutely pathetic. I don't hide the fact that I don't see eye to eye with Dan, but he was a damn good admin. Talon too was a great admin as well, but I'm perhaps biased here since I like Talon.

Still, fucking pathetic.

Huge thanks to Dan and Talon, sad to see this happen, but at the same time a huge relief to think that the eUK just might be able move on from this now.

Well whenever I was around they both did a sound job. At least Frerk has some past experience in the role though I guess.

Seriously?

I was actually joking too, as I knew the moderators wouldn't be that stupid to unban him.
