Sporting moment of 2012
« on: December 31, 2012, 12:32:41 pm »
2012 has probably been one of the best years I've ever seen for sport...we got rid of Joey Barton :P

Seriously though what was your favourite moment. I'll give you some options to chose from.

I voted for City winning the League as its the worst thing I can remember happening in football for a long time.

Hehe, well I wasn't really involved with any of the other moments other than Chelsea so I can't say I particularly enjoyed any of them :)

This.  I was watching it in an absolutely rammed pub and the atmosphere was something I hadn't experienced before.  It was just so engrossing.

I honestly can't decide. There have been some amazing examples of sporting achievement this year, and some very old mental barriers to sports have been broken down these year thanks to British athletes. But if I had to narrow it down, it'd probably have to be Man City (watching both games at the exact same time was one of the most amazing things I've ever witnessed, and well worth the exam sacrifice).

Would've gone for Wiggo, but he was pretty much handed the TdF and the Olympic time trial.

The last minute Man City goal was just fantastic. I'm no Man City fan (The Royals ftw!) but that was well and truly my favourite sporting moment.
