eAustralian Embassy
« on: June 06, 2013, 07:09:19 pm »
Hello eUK!

I have returned in ambassador form; I know, I know lucky you!

My aim is to bring eAustralia and the wider NaN out of political isolationism and move towards pro-TWO, and away from pro-CoT.

I look forward to my month in eUK. (Until the weather gets shit again anyway!)

Surely NaN by definition shouldn't be looking towards any alignment...

But if you are aligning, TWO is the way to go. :D
I've wasted so much time here; I can't afford to give up now!

After the successful signing of an NAP with our occupiers Chile, Australia managed to gain the independence of Tasmania just before the congress elections and successfully elect our own congress! As long as this NAP is maintained monthly by both sides, which seems likely, Australia should be able to maintain a congressional presence and thus maintain an MPP stack, reposition ourselves to make a mark on the world stage and attract new players who are often disappointed by Australia's lack of independence.

Opinion in the media and in government discussions seems to be leaning towards favouring joining Sirius, and as I understand talks have been undertaken between Sirius HQ and our MoFA, so I imagine either in the few days leading up to the CP election or in the few days after Australia may officially join Sirius/ProSirius. We look forward to strengthening our bond with the eUK should we join them in Sirius. Please remember nothing is written in stone, this is just the way things in my country seem to be (very strongly) leaning.
