It is if someone is in Party X forum pretending to be a Party X member but also in Party Y forum planning how to rig their elections and descisions.

Or if someone PTOs a party and denies that Party X is invovled, despite them being on the Party X forums (ie. one of their members).

Basically. People need to be held to account for their actions and we need defence against PTO.

Now someone could get membership of several party forums (which was not allowed on old forums) to organise dirty tricks.

If multiple parties give them access, what does it matter, and again...whose business is it but the people assigning access? They're responsible for their lists, not you, the self appointed whatever you fancy yourself.

What he's getting at is that those people can't see the other party lists (as before) to make sure the person's not already in another parties forums. It is a valid point.

No it isn't. Either they meet the requirements for board membership or they don't. What goes on in another party isn't any of your business.

One of which, in terms of parties, is that you don't have access to other parties boards as you're a member of that party only.

It's been like that for years for a reason.

If someone's going to do that, they can just operate via private message. Not being in a forum usergroup isn't going to stop a mole from getting up in your shit.

Seriously, this isn't that complicated.

More concerned about those people who make multiple accounts to achieve this. Like you.

Pretty much this.  It ain't really that hard to get into other sub forums.  Not to mention, who actually uses the forums to organise and discuss things as a party? It's TUP (competent in running a party forum) and UKRP (forum admins) most likely.

We don't use forums much anymore. But anyway, Goku infiltrated us loads of times. It's not fair to new players to say something like "We can't give you access for 6 weeks until we're sure you're not a slimeball multi accounter", so we just have to accept it. He probably has one or two accounts in the party now.

If you meant to choose default usergroup then yeah i was also wondering why we can't do it like we did in previous version of forum

You should be able to now on this page:
