Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils

He's had it in for me ever since I accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly," and replace "dog" with "son."

I went in yesterday but nothing was overly cheap. Most of the games were priced about £5 lower than what i usaully pay anyway (play.com) so there weren't many i saw and thought i had to buy it cause it was cheap. I managed to pick up Mirrors Edge for the small fee of £20, couldn't justify paying the original £40 when it was released but i'm sure it'll be worth the money. Infact, they still had 3 or 4 Mirrors Edge titles in the pre-owned section at £30. Think anyone was dumb enough to take that instead? And do you think they'd point out that it was cheaper new?!

Buying used games in brick and mortar stores is usually a massive rip off anyway, Last year I spent £80 in total on console games and that got me 6 games. Two words. Amazon Marketplace.

Yeh apart from the titles that i must have that i preorder i'm gonna stick to waiting a while or go pre-owned more often. I got Assassins Creed for £9 on ebay and it was in mint condition. I think Halo 3 cost me around £20 new and Lego Star Wars:TCS was £15 on play.com. You really can save alot of money on stuff like this. Usually the places to avoid for games are the big chain stores like HMV or Zavvi. Game is usually good because that's what the shops there for so they have ok prices in order to get you to go there and not the likes of HMV.
Internet shopping is cheaper the majority of the time though and so easy!

Yeah, I wouldn't take financial advice from someone who's first name is Dodgy.
