I offer House Baratheon a 10 year alliance, which will include the defense of each others realms should we come under attack.

Do you accept?

If you refuse the above alliance with House Targaryen, I will offer a 10 year NAP with House Martell.

If you refuse the above offer with House Martin, I will write a short poem detailing the advance in mining safety from the 18th to 19th century
<Guitah> not arguing with a Brit about tea is tha sensible thing to do :)
<Appleby> it is common knowledge it is pointless arguing with an addict :p
<Appleby> thus it is pointless arguing about tea with brits

Never even seen these till now lol

House Baratheon can not accept the alliance proposal at this time as to do so would offend our closest neighbours to the south with whom your relations have slipped.

Most regretfully,

Kieran Baratheon

House Tyrell will agree to a non-intrusion alliance if House Baratheon agrees to not enter any green colour regions.

This alliance will last 10 years with the non-intrusion agreement being the only agreement.

Do you accept?

I'd like to point out that:

It was Martell, your neighbour in the south, who decided to start this war. I never invaded any land of theirs - Lys was open ground. I sent just 1 influence there because I was worried Martell would attempt to quickly invade, yet they took sudden offense to this and immediately started war without any negotiations. When negotiations were attempted, I agreed that I would leave Lys, but not Myr, as Myr is not bordering them and they have no harbours I can invade.

I would also like to inform you that your NAP will probably snap like a twig; Where are Martell going to go after they've tried to invade me? They're already building up influence toward your direction, and I wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly turned on you whilst your hands are tied, catching you off guard.

I still have no quarrel with you, so long as you do not attack me during my defense, and respect your decision to ally with them. But take heed this warning; House Martell are not necessarily your friend. That was a mistake I made.

From,
<3

House Baratheon accepts as this is a major building block to a peaceful and stable southern realm
