The explanation:

I've for some time been gently encouraging his pursuit for the title of president. He thinks of me as his sort of adviser. So when he asked me to write a manifesto for him in the best English possible, I really couldn't resist the oppurtunity. I wrote the 9 most absurd points I could think of and ran them through a translator a few times to jumble it up, then just switched the word 'vote' for 'boat' and 'please' to 'prease'. I then sent this to him as a message, and left a comment at the bottom to say that 'I partcularly like point 7' and then just to see if he bothered reading it, I wrote 'Dis iz a jokez'. He just copied and pasted it straight into his newspaper, bottom bit included. The strange thing is, he's been quoting it in messages and on the one time he went on IRC, so I get the picture he sincerely thinks this is pure gold.

Which, undeniably, it is.
