I just got it, its free, but pretty ok.

I'm quite crap, but will play with some peeps if they want :P

But seriously, LoL is a fun game once you get the hang of it. I'd suggest playing some AI matches of SR before going into normal matches (Don't even try dominion yet. It's completely different and you need to learn the basics of LoL). The champions on free rotate every Monday so I'd suggest looking at all of them on free at the moment to see which is the best for you.

Looking at the current rotation Ryze is probably a good one to start on since he's fairly easy to play. Singed is fun too if you know how to play him.

I quite enjoyed that one with the piano, she's cool. Crazy bitch with wings isn't so hot, nor is the ho with the shield and that.

It takes a little while to get the hang of and if you're really good it shows :D

The matching up is fairly good though, you'll end up with similar powered players.

I've been on the fence about playing this. Just not sure about how much time I have to spend on it
Time-wise, how long does each fight take? Is it like world of Tanks where fights are limited? or like Warcraft where it is open eneded?

I've been playing DotA a lot recently with a mate who got me hooked. Going to try LoL as it's p similar, and has a good following of actives on eUSA forums.

After getting Dota 2 four and a half months ago I've managed to play LoL a total of 3 games. It's a great game for people to get used to the genre but Dota is much better.

Limited, each fight is up to about 40mins or something

Not got DotA 2. Mate I play with probs can't play it on his shit laptop.
