People can be more effectively rehabilitated, many murders are committed without regard for the consequences anyway.

For some jail mean school, university. They go there for specialisation. Even better, like in holiday. For some of them there's no hope - they'are born that way they die that way.
I am not saying the death penalty is a good thing but for some is the last resort. First of all tougher laws. But hey, tougher laws would mean less solicitors and judges and we don't want that, God forbid.

The death penalty is a horrible idea. This gives the judges power to almost murder someone in some degree.
The death penalty gives not a chance for rehabilitation or change. The murderer could be punished in a such more rational way.
