Although, this topic was never meant to be about debating whether or not Canada paid 4000+ gold or 400+ gold. I really don't see Canada ever having more than 4000+ gold in their country accounts given their history of thefts.

It's just the way it's written on the Wiki unless they've altered the equation it works out a bit like how the old RW's were started just more costlier.

BODMAS (Brackets -> Orders (roots, squares)-> Divide -> Multiple -> Add -> Subract)
200 + 10% x citizens in the country =
200 ADD 0.1 MULTIPLIED BY 2300
Multiplication comes before Add on the list
Hence, you multiply before you add. Not the other way around.
